to all,

i am thinning the herd so to speak, (gonna go back to Africa) and getting rid of one of my 9.3 x 74r o/u double rifles. this one is a Zoli, single trigger, coin finish receiver, pretty nice wood, trim and relatively light weight. ( i will weigh it later, guessing around 7.5#. has a single leaf rear sight, brass bead. tight on the face, a very nice carry rifle. no scope or case, it actually has the original box.

we had an actual sunny day (same day as the double rifle shoot here in alaska) so i thought i would take a few photos to post as well. i have only shot it a couple times, so have done no regulation work with it. (bought a 450-400 zoli and IT got all the attention). $2650. griffon and howe is selling one for over $6,000 so i think that this price is a screaming deal. PM if interested

That’s a very nice rifle! I’m very interested indeed! Any targets?

hi rock375,

no targets, sorry. as noted above, i just shot it a few times to make sure it worked, and then got sidetracked with a 450-400 (zoli, by the way) that i got a deal on shortly after. as i remember it shot the norma oryx bullet a couple inches apart at 50 yards (vertical). i suspect with a bit of speeding up or slowing down (never chronographed the shots) the bullets it would end up shooting pretty close together.

Would be the perfect companion for the 9.3x74R/12ga Zoli combo I have....perhaps a trade? When you come back to Africa?

i am kind of a dumbass, forgot to leave a phone number. if you have detailed questions, give me a call and i can answer them. (907)350-9172

The curly in that wood is amazing.
If I wasn't going on Safari...

Good luck with it.

Good morning 1dirthawker. Just checking if you’ve sold the Zoli 9.3 yet? I’m still trying to convince myself I need another gun. My herd is also way to large already!

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
