Ok, for all the Parker lovers out there, here's a 1920 D grade on a desirable #1 frame. Locks up tight, on face, barrels ring true. The price on turn of the century American SxS's has been climbing nicely over the years. This is a super nice, unaltered shotty. Asking $2800 obo

12ga
28" BBL (yes to modern loads)
2 3/4
Choked Mod/Full
14 1/4 LoP

Lovely Parker!

I'm open to partial trades too

I don't think so........ in my opinion no

I am certainly not a Parker expert, but is the gun a D or DHE. I know the H was a designation for hammerless and the E being for ejectors. I thought the Ds did not have the dog & pheasant engraving?

The DH did have the Dog and scroll engraving. It looks like that’s a DH or DHE gun. Nice gun, but with the butt pad, I would not be interested, am I sure others would.

I'm not an expert either, but I have owned many parkers.......short answer is yes, it is a DH and that is the standard engraving after about 1904 or so.

This is what the early engravings looked like.

Now the question is it a E for ejector gun? I believe there would be a difference in value.

no, it is not an ejector gun and yes ejector guns are worth more. It's priced accordingly, if it was a pristine gun, I would be asking A LOT more for it.

Bump and I'm open to trades for something in the 416 caliber range.

Sacrilege, I acknowledge, but I wonder about a rebarrel (and all that's involved!) to 500/416? I went looking for a Parker gun many years ago, prices back then were scary, even if one could be found. Getting such an item out of the good ol' U S of A could be time-consuming, expensive, but such a reward in the end ...

Out of all the different color variations of Impala the black Impala just stands out with its beautiful pitch black hide.

Impala is one of the animals you will see all over Africa.
You can see them in herds of a 100 plus together.
