I booked a hunt for a PH friend of mine late last year with somebody I have known for some time. The property is 3500ha with some nice species including the rare Cape Mountain Zebra. There is also a healthy population of bontebuck. I had no doubt that they would collect a fine example of a bontebuck. What I wasn't expecting is that they would shoot a record 16 3/8 specimen, ranking nr 3 in Rowland Ward. With this and the feedback that there are more very good quality trophies I could not resist the temptation to collect one myself.
