Good morning, everyone.
For over a decade I have run a fantasy football league on another large forum, it is a ton of fun and those of us in the league over the years have become good friends. A few days ago I reached out to @AfricaHunting.com to get his blessing on possibly starting a similar league here on AH. He not only agreed to allow it, but went to work with some sponsors here to get some fantastic prizes.
@Von Gruff has very generously donated one of his excellent custom made knives to the prize bucket.
I think the absolute minimum number required to get the ball rolling is 8, however 10 or 12 would be better. We have to have even number, so if we get to 9, we either have to drop the last person in or find a 10th.
This is a no money league, no gambling or anything else that tends to get people pissed off. I use Yahoo for the league, I am not a fan of ESPN's format at all.
If you are interested in joining the league, please PM me your contact info, I will email an invite to you asap. We don't have much time before the season starts, so a draft date is going to be a bit of an issue. Right now, I am leaning toward Sunday Sept 5th, in the later afternoon, but I will do my best to work with everyone.
I will fill spots as people reach out, if we fill up, I will let everyone know. Hope to hear from anyone interested.
