Saturday my Brother wanted me to go to a local gun and pawn shop that has a huge ruger sale every year. I didn't expect to find this at all. I ended up not getting it saturday, but it ate me up all day sunday. So I called this morning and left right after work to go get it. Right now it's set up with a fixed 6x leupold. Planning on norma brass and probably the 156 grain oryx. I really love the way the rifle feels, stock is very slim. Ordered a couple boxes on PPU 139 gr sp to try out this weekend. Heck I may end up using that brass. I've had good luck with PPU brass in my 9.3x62. Should make a sweet little whitetail setup.

Mine (Little Rigby) works well for putting meat in the freezer.

Congratulations, they are hard to find.

Great buy! I’m still looking, missed out on two different ones on another site’s classified section by a couple of minutes each time. The last one sold for something really cheap like $595 used! They go on Gunbroker for stupid money.

Thanks guys, and yes I saw some gunbroker prices, and pretty much gave up. Luckily they took trades, so I traded one of my howa heavy barrel 6.5 creedmoor's for it. The rifle with the 6x leupold was $1195 I ended up spending about $425 out of pocket. Thinking of trying something in the 160 grain weight. Should be good for where I hunt in Mississippi.

You’ll love the 156 gr Oryx, I use H4350 and have dropped everything
I’v Shot. The one bullet that has been recovered weighted 148 gr and was mushroomed almost three times the original diameter.

Beautiful rifle. Congrats.

Had one in 6.5 Swede and while very pretty it was a very mediocre shooter, so I dumped it. I do have a No. 1 in .275 Rigby though and it shoots fine. Not the stubby full stock though, mine is the 24 inch model with express rear and white bead front.

I've been a little nervous about what accuracy may be like lol. I've only had one other m77 in 7mag and it wasnt the best shooter. I'm gonna try it how it is, and if it's not to great I may bed it and free float it.

Wow, beautiful rifle! Congrats on the buy!!!!!

Nice find, congrats!

Congrats ! I got some vintage 7 × 57 mm Mauser Winchester ammo in stock . 6 boxes unopened. If you want any to buy , PM me :)

I did both of those things, didn't improve it much. Most recent made Ruger rifles and handguns shoot very well, so I would expect your .275 to be fine. Congrats.
