English .404 Jeffery For Sale In UK

Here is my .404 Jeffery's I've now fully committed to selling.

It was made by Robert (Bob) Harvey who was an amazing gun maker and smith, it was made on a Mauser 98 action, case colour hardened tastefully with some gold inlay and minor engraving. It feeds and shoots amazingly well, never been further than the range as far as I know, the grouping with irons is perfect if I do say so my self. Have have some ammo, dies and new brass for it as well. It has a Schmidt and Bender 1.25-4x20 on it with Aple swing off mounts.

The original build cost was £12k plus optics and the rebuild cost is estimated at £12-15k a lot of this goes to the case colour hardening, engraving and gold inlay, although minor in all areas it all adds up apparently!!

The gun is currently at my home in Northamptonshire, England, viewings are welcome when its legally possible, I am open to offers and would help with any shipping paperwork ect.

I'm asking £8,000 for the rifle and everything included ono.

Here is the list of dimensions that I have already been asked to provide, I have taken these with kitchen scales and a tape measure so not 100% gun smith accurate of course:

Barrel length - 25"
LOP - 13 3/4"
Weight of bare rifle - 9lb 9oz
Weight of rifle and scope - 11lb
Model and cross hair type in scope - it doesn't say the model but looks like an A1 Reticle
It is a 3 + 1 magazine with a floor plate
