Empire Rifles in 495 A Square, 99% condition. Includes Leupold VX- III 1.5-5x20, and around 80 loaded rounds of ammunition. Also includes die sets pictured. This gun is beautiful and in excellent condition. Asking $10,000.00 plus shipping from my ffl in Oregon.

For those that don't know, the 495 AS is a 460 wby case that's blown straight out, and tapered down to .510 caliber. It doesn't appear to have a shoulder of any kind, much like the 458 Lott. It will work with the same bullets that you would fire in a 500 Nitro or 500 Jeffery. Actually a very good cartridge from what I've read.

I had a 500 A Square which was basically a 460 necked up to 50 cal. I believe the 495 is a shortened 460 necked for a 50 cal bullet

Copy all that!!! Lief is a great guy and solid to do business with. I bought the Dakota Travelall Takedown rifle in 330 Dakota with the Schmidt and Bender scope, ammo & brass from him. About 10 days later he contacted me and when they were going thru more "stuff" he found the hard case from Dakota Arms, THE SECOND BARREL IN 404 DAKOTA along with ammo and brass for the 404, manuals, tools etc! He sold it to me at a very fair price so now its a 330 Dakota/404 Dakota two barrel set. The 330 is the 404 necked down to 33 so the 404 brass i had put up for sale here is now OFF THE MARKET! LOL! Anyway, Lief is a solid guy so dont hesitate to do biz with.

I'd love to buy about 100 of those 330 Dakota brass if you'll part with them. I can't find new 330 Dakota brass, at a reasonable price, anywhere. I've got a Post-64 Win 70 built by George Beitzinger with a 25" heavy stainless fluted barrel in what appears to be a D'Arcy Echols legend stock. I've got a Swarovski Z8i 2.3-18x56mm sitting in Talley steel bases & rings. It's ready to roll....I just need some brass. I was able to pick up some Combined Technology Partition Gold 250gr bullets I plan to load in it. Wife & I have a plains game hunt booked with Marius Goosen/KMG Safaris in Sept 2023.....maiden voyage to Africa & I'm pumped!!! We're also hunting Cape Buffalo & I've got the AHR CZ 550 in 450 Rigby shooting 107 gr H-4350 with 500gr Swift A-Frames.
