Decided to put one of my carvings up for sale here. Carved this in 2022. I've enjoyed seeing it on shelf here, but it's time for it to find a new home. The vacant space will demand I find another log to whittle on to fill the void. The wood is mesquite, with an oil finish. It's a little over 17" tall, 9" wide and 7" deep at the base, getting thinner at the top as it was wedge cut from the log. Leans back a few degrees. Does weigh a few pounds as mesquite is a fairly dense hardwood. Deep relief with a touch of pyrography. Really like how the oil brings out the detail & grain. $1400 shipped in CONUS. If outside that area, we can see what is involved & the cost.

Decided to make a Christmas special with this. $950 shipped in conus. Would look great on any of the desks I've seen in hunters' offices; particularly those with an African feel to the room.

Jerome, do you think my last post in rough camping must maybe shift as an article?

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl
