First post - Which plains game animals should a first/2nd timer focus on when going to these different regions? Have plans for East Cape next year; have a feeling I'll be back and like seeing new country..... From what I've been reading - I should definitely be looking at Springbuck, Black Wildebeest, & Bushbuck when hunting the Eastern Cape. Thanks!

When hunting the East Cape I would look at Vaal Rhebuck, Cape Grysbuck and Blue Duiker native to the East Cape. If you want Springbuck take in Namibia they are bigger horned there. I would opt for Bushbuck in EC as they are cheaper than Limpopo for the most part but there are some dandys in the Limpopo. Hell you cant go wrong in any of your choices. Happy Hunting.

Kudu, caracal, steenbok, blesbok and common duiker would be a great choice in the East Cape.

Namibia is great for gemsbok, red hartebeest, kudu, mountain zebra, eland, giraffe and springbok.

Limpopo is great for kudu, blue wildebeest, Burchell zebra, impala, waterbuck, sable, bushbuck, civet cat, serval, brown hyena, spotted hyena, honey badger and genets

I’ve hunted all three and I can tell you IMO definitely hunt gemsbok and springbuck in Namibia also they have some monster kudu and the beautiful mtn. Zebra. In Limpopo red duiker, Hyena, buffalo, hippo, and as @enysse mentioned all the above plains game. The eastern cape black wildebeest, bushbuck, cape kudu, reedbuck, blue duiker, Vaal rhebok, blue wildebeest, Waterbuck and steenbok,...hey just go hunting and have a blast!

Chopped up the whole thing as I kept hitting the 240 character limit...
Found out the trigger word in the end... It was muzzle or velocity. dropped them and it posted.:)
