Hi there and welcome welcome welcome

Welcome Tracey. You have found THE forum for information about hunting in Africa!

Welcome Tracey

It can be an overload I suppose. Try and form a clear opinion in your head first of species you would like to hunt and more importantly what your expectations are for the actual hunt as well as everything around the hunt.

In the meantime, enjoy "hunting" on this forum.

You are welcome to pm me if you like

Welcome aboard Tracey. I agree with you, there is a lot of information available on AH. But then you have a lot of time to digest it in time for your planned 2021 hunt. We all have our favorites i.e. species of game, Outfitters, brand of rifles, calibers etc. and post about them accordingly. We have spirited discussions at times but mean no disrespect to any hunter, his thoughts and or ideas. Read through the forums to find previous posts that may interest you and or answer questions that you may have. This site is addicting, enjoy the ride.

Welcome aboard!

Welcome Tracey to AH! So do you own the barbecue place in your avatar? If so, let me know where it is located and I’ll stop for a meal next time I go to Wyoming (which is fairly often).

I’d suggest you start here by looking under Safari Guide first.
Best of luck getting to Africa! WARNING: it is highly addictive!

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
