Doubles on the way….

Send it to JJ Perodeau and he'll do whatever is necessary to make it a trustworthy rifle. (And never ever do the math of the rifle, RIA buyers' premium, shipping, and repair).

Tell me about I had a sticker shock when I got the invoice, RIA fee's add up! I rather just buy from JJ directly next time.

Having bought two DRs outside the US and sending them both then to JJ, the following were the average extra costs:
1. Shipping to US $1200
2. JJ average repair $1250

JJ nor George really have great deals on their DRs for sale but you know my above two costs are not needed given rest assured they are in perfect shape.

For myself, I am like @redleg…the above had no bearing on my buy decision at all but it should help you with your buying decision if it matters to you. Hope this helps

Completely agree with the advice from Red Leg and Rare Breed. I too sent my Heym to JJ for work. He did a great job and now the rifle fits me great and works flawlessly. JJ is absolutely the guy to send your DR's to.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
