It is late on new years day for us here now and Lyne and I had a nice ride to see in the new year. Started to go over to Balclutha for a coffee but stoped to take a pic toward the Blue mountains and saw a txt to say my sister and b i l were at thier crib in Tapanui so turned round and headed over to catch up with them. Perfect riding day in the low 70's with a very pleasant 156 mile to show for it.
Do hope you all have a safe and enjoyable entry into the new year with a better 12 months ahead than behind you.

Happy New Year to all. The mood here is 'despite', or make a plan. Power generation is abyssmal, less than 400mW for the whole country, so everyone is going off grid with generators and/or solar. It is time to enjoy Africa, not whine about it.

We found another little farm dam near Harare and spent New Years day catching bream.

This was a small game park really, quite a nice herd of sable came by to check us out. Zebra, impala and eland too.
