Hi all,

is it just me, or is the new format of the Deals and Offers page hard to follow and read!?

I really preferred having a list!(n)

What are you finding tough to read?
Do you find the pictures distracting?

Possibly that, but more that it's a bit all over!

In a list you can see if it's a species you are interested in and move down, now you have to move around the page looking at pics which may or sometimes may not represent the offered species and then read the wording etc.

For me it's just not as easy to work through........maybe it's more fun for some......but it takes longer!

I actually agree with Jumbo on this one.

I thought it was just me....

The new format looks great, but it is tougher and longer to sort through. One better for browsing (new) and the other (old) better for finding something specific, or a post you saw a few weeks ago and want to look back at.

I think it looks nice, but I did like the old format. I thought it was faster, to browse through the ads.

I will agree it looks great, but I was trying to find one of my post, took awhile.

Time consuming to find an older post, just too much in the pretty category to sort thru when I am looking for a specific offer. Just getting to old for this I guess, still believe in the KISS method. Younger generation love the bells and whistles, and trinkets attached.

Being part of the "younger generation" I still prefer the KISS method and like the older traditional forum style myself.

Thank you for the honest feedback always very helpful. I made the changes to update the look of the site but the bottom line is always performance and so far we have seen an increase traffic and time spent, however since it has just been a short amount of time that could be unrelated. I will be looking for the next couple of months as this new look is bringing about positive results, if not I will consider returning it to the original format. Please feel free to continue to comment as it is valuable information to me.

FWIW and no offense.....I hate it.

I like it , but it would be nice to see when the last message was posted before opening each one.

If more people are hitting the offers consistently that is hard to argue with, but I wonder if more time is simply because it takes longer to see the same thing?

Don't get me wrong, I do think it looks prettier, but I'm questioning the function. I find myself just looking at offers through "new posts" and rarely through the deals section. In all fairness though, I was doing that a lot before and then would look at the deals section to find something again that I wanted to look at for whatever reason.

And hey, listening to feedback makes you better than FB already!!!! :A Banana:

Since you're asking, I also prefer the old format; easier to guide around and find pricing and details without all of the other bells and whistles.

I have to agree that I prefer the previous format. the photos are great, but it is harder to research and review quickly!

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
