Courteney Selous Boots question

Hi, I just purchased my first pair of Courteney selous boots off eBay. They have a Westley Richard’s tag on them and I’m curious if anyone could identify the leather used on them, as no information was provided by the sellers. Thanks

Looks like buffalo to me.

I believe mine are Buffalo with impala for the soft tongue and around the tops

That style isn't on the Courtney website, They have dark middle and light outside in buffalo, but these are the opposite. Mine are buffalo and kudu but not as dark as these. Someone probably made a custom order, which they will always do if you want to wait a little longer.

I think tat model is only available through the Westley Richards website and retailers. The color should even out with time and use, at least mine did.
Buffalo/impala or buffalo/kudu would be my guess.
