The real question is: which one leaks more?
BMW turbo straight 6 and 8 speed automatic..........interesting.Google "Ineos Grenadier " - another company that makes "copies" of the Defender but by all accounts they appear to be very good vehicles . Seems like they started making look alike Defenders when LR stopped making them .
Only just coming to market....you can go online and put down £2500 refundable deposit to get on order list...configurator is working....on their email list so keep getting the updates...choice of BMW petrol and diesel turbo engines specifically tuned for the grenadier...got a double cab coming as well....waiting to see what that's like...Google "Ineos Grenadier " - another company that makes "copies" of the Defender but by all accounts they appear to be very good vehicles . Build and order your Grenadier online
Design your Grenadier exactly the way you want it. Order it to be delivered to a retail partner near you.ineosgrenadier.com
Grenadier looks interesting, but they need a US partner to make a go of it with the service infrastructure needed in the States.
But if you are going old school ...............
Just saying

My dear fellow, a gentleman doesn't barrel over highways to hunting fields, one sedately makes ground at a civillised pace. For parts and service, they will be working with Bosch, is that not a brand well represented in the US?
Any means of increasing the fuel efficiency of the FJ40 @Red Leg? Reason I’m asking is that here in Brussels, we start to get all kinds of CO2 limits and minimum fuel efficiency rules on cars to be used on a daily basis.
I really do like them, but they just do not seem the most economical option to go barrelling over the high way at 120km/h to the hunting fields.
Fixed it for you, Mr PeacockeMy dear fellow, a gentleman doesn't barrel over highways to hunting fields, one sedately makes ground at a civillised pace, especially if one is pushing it rather than driving
They were not geared to be a fuel efficient form of transportation. My big F250 gets much better gas mileage. Nor would it pass any sort of emission control test. Fortunately, here it is not required to do so since it was never so equipped. For parts and service, they will be working with Bosch, is that not a brand well represented in the US?
