Contemplating with a Scotch

You should do something about that.......that is besides sip on a fine Scotch of course.

Not a Scotch man. But hold on while I pour me a JD & water and we can drink & scheme together.

Im doing the exact same as we speak with a bourbon...

Makers anyone?

Don't we all miss Africa?
But wait I'm going in 45 days!

I have to wait until next May. But I still have some Red Heart Rum for my diet coke :)
Started getting things in order for my trip even though it is far too long a way off to suit me.
Thinking of spending about a month in South Africa. :)

I miss it also @Ridge Top Ranch !

I've been back 3 1/2 weeks from SA and havn't got much work done, only daydreaming, emailing outfitters, and planning on 2017!!

It's supposed to reach 111 degree's here in Tucson today. I am contemplating cooler climates. A fishing trip to Alaska right now would be thee bee's knee's!

Chopped up the whole thing as I kept hitting the 240 character limit...
Found out the trigger word in the end... It was muzzle or velocity. dropped them and it posted.:)

2,822fps, ES 8.2
This compares favorably to 7 Rem Mag. with less powder & recoil.

*PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS FOR MY RIFLE, ALWAYS APPROACH A NEW LOAD CAUTIOUSLY!!*
Rifle is a Pierce long action, 32" 1:8.5 twist Swan{Au} barrel
{You will want a 1:8.5 to run the heavies but can get away with a 1:9}
Peterson .280AI brass, CCI 200 primers, 56.5gr of 4831SC, 184gr Berger Hybrid.

I know that this thread is more than a year old but as a new member I thought I would pass along my .280AI loading.
I am shooting F Open long range rather than hunting but here is what is working for me and I have managed a 198.14 at 800 meters.
That is for 20 shots. The 14 are X's which is a 5" circle.

Have twice tried to post something that your site canned as "SPAM" or some problem.. "Contact the Administrator"... Not sure why even the "Contact" button would not send my comment so you only received my query but not the content in question. I'll see if I can get it to you this way... NOPE I use a VPN and perhaps that is causing me grief...
