Whatever you like to shoot the best. Either will do the job. Long range or short range shots most common? Differences in scopes on rifles? What bullets are they set up for? You and I can both make an argument for either caliber. Good luck on your upcoming hunt. Bruce
Just another one of lifes regrets, I guess. I don't reload and for the price of factory ammo, i could shoot a 375H&H cheaper, so I sold it and got my second 375. Again, looking back at it, wish I would've kept it... Bart mentioned the 375-06 which is a little more obscure than the 8mm rem mag, I think for his Elk hunts the 8mm remmie would be a great choice...
oh yeah i will be using that one for all its worth next time i get a chance to go hound hunting for the week end .
every bloody time some ones gotta start the 3006 is no good arguement now theyre all using 300s or 338s but this will pull a couple of em up short.
