I can’t think of a better way to celebrate sweeping the democrats out of office than the purchase of a new rifle. This rifle is a Dakota Safari 375hh built in 1989 with wood the customer supplied. In its first life it lived in Wisconsin. It has been magnaported and appears to have never been shot and I don’t think it has ever had an optic mounted .
Thank goodness our country is headed in a new direction and in Trumps case , I hope he really keeps his promises.

Beautiful rifle. I have Dakota M76s in 7mm-08 and 30-06.

Would like a nice 375 to make a set that could hunt the world.

Yours is a perfect way to celebrate a new era.

This the my VICTORY Gun that I bought a couple days after the awesome Landslide election.
1895 Marlin SBL 45 70 with Holosun Red Dot

Gorgeous

I have no strong political opinions but I do love guns and hunting. So this isn’t a celebration, just something I was finally able to pick up and bring home. Franchi 16 gauge instinct. A bit different than my 20 gauge that my daughter has taken over. Time will tell if the changes are for better or worse, or just different.
Haven’t shot it yet but love the tight fit of a new over under.

Chopped up the whole thing as I kept hitting the 240 character limit...
Found out the trigger word in the end... It was muzzle or velocity. dropped them and it posted.:)

2,822fps, ES 8.2
This compares favorably to 7 Rem Mag. with less powder & recoil.

*PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS FOR MY RIFLE, ALWAYS APPROACH A NEW LOAD CAUTIOUSLY!!*
Rifle is a Pierce long action, 32" 1:8.5 twist Swan{Au} barrel
{You will want a 1:8.5 to run the heavies but can get away with a 1:9}
Peterson .280AI brass, CCI 200 primers, 56.5gr of 4831SC, 184gr Berger Hybrid.

I know that this thread is more than a year old but as a new member I thought I would pass along my .280AI loading.
I am shooting F Open long range rather than hunting but here is what is working for me and I have managed a 198.14 at 800 meters.
That is for 20 shots. The 14 are X's which is a 5" circle.

Have twice tried to post something that your site canned as "SPAM" or some problem.. "Contact the Administrator"... Not sure why even the "Contact" button would not send my comment so you only received my query but not the content in question. I'll see if I can get it to you this way... NOPE I use a VPN and perhaps that is causing me grief...
