I've seen a huge variety of delightful Cape buff all over this sight. From the different pictures and videos, I've seen an even greater variation in the horn presentation.
Would someone please explain the difference between male and female horns? What causes the bosses to get so thick and bulky? What causes the pitting in the horns on the older ones?
Previously, I wasn't too interested in going after one of these, but (line the red hartbeest) the more I look at them the more I'm thinking i might one day. I saw a mountain buff hunt this week that looked like tremendous fun

What a great way to kick off our 2025 hunting season in South Africa.

This beautiful Impala ram was taken at just over 300 yards, took a few steps and toppled over.

We are looking forward to the next week and a half of hunting with our first client of the year.

Do you have any more copies of African Dangerous Game Cartridges, Author: Pierre van der Walt ? I'm looking for one. Thanks for any information, John [redacted]
