Day 2: Slow morning hunt. No wind. Geese didn’t cooperate.

Got a few.

This afternoon:
Couple locals joined us, one guy brought his daughter and her friend. They had a great time competing with Nala the Lab picking up ducks. The girls didn’t shoot.

We had a wonderful day overall. Ended with more than a dozen Snows and 5 limits of Ducks.

We’ll try Ducks in the morning instead of snows, due to very little wind…

Day 3: Limits of Ducks - Mixed Bag. Mallards weren’t cooperating…1 Goose.
Took 2 hours. Lot of low lookers, they just weren’t decoying all the way in. 25 Degrees and no wind. Wheat field.

We ended our trip a 1/2 day early due to lack of wind and having limited on Ducks. Snows weren’t likely to cooperate without wind, so we headed to the (Calgary) airport and got a Hotel. Up early and at the airport; only to have a weather delay for our flight back to NorCal! 3 1/2 hour Delay! Good to have lounge access…

Checked in with Ben (Cloud 9) and he reported that his new group got 250 snows this morning! What a difference a day and wind makes…

Regardless we had a great time and shot a lot of ducks and some geese…

Jerome, do you think my last post in rough camping must maybe shift as an article?

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl
