Calibre Choices for Dangerous Game

Nice article

I am chatting with Rigby now about 416 Rigby.

I will have to see how we could dress the rifle up... a little engraving would be a nice personal touch in my opinion...

Good article. Shot placement and the right bullet, where have I heard that before?

Excellent article with very good advice. In particular; . . . . "shot placement and bullet construction are far more important than calibre."

Yes shot placement is all important but a 416 Rigby would be such a great gun to own.

I think we have a consensus! Bullet composition and shot placement are the things PH's worry about. Good to know. CAustin- you might still need that .416 because the article didn't mention country-specific minimum calibers. If I were a judge, my gavel would be striking and the words "case closed" would echo in my courtroom. But I'm not, so feel free to continue arguing.

Excellent article, worth reading twice.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
