I've seen several posts on here about looking for ways to anneal cases. On Sat I received a copy of the Dillon Blue Press, and they had an article about the Burstfire Annealer. So, I google it and saw a couple of videos. From what I can see this is not a bad deal at all. I know with some brass being so difficult to find I believe this would be a good buy. I'm planning on getting one. If anyone on here has one, please let us know your experience. Not sure if posting the web site is against the rules or not, but if it is please remove it. My apologies.

Haven't seen one, but it looks interesting. My question would be whether it will handle the type of cartridges which we use on safari. According to the website, the optional part(s) allow it to handle cases thru .338 Lapua in size. That's too short for my .375 H&H, and certainly not going to work with any of the Nitro Express cartridges. And those are the ones for which I personally would want such a machine. But I'm probably not their sales demographic.

It all depends on your intended use. For many of the more commonly-used medium game cartridges, it might be a viable option.

I went through four different annealers including two similar to that one.

The AMP (annealing made perfect) is the one to get. It is far, far better consistency and far safer than the various torch models.

Finally got around to installing magnum wheels on my Annealeez yesterday. Previously did my 338WM brass by hand.

Good basic annealing machine for up to 338 Lapua. There is a newer version on their website, btw.

I just saw Budsgunshop.com has both the guide gun and the African for $1150. FWIW - I bought both and decided to use the Guide gun - I restocked it in a Bell and Carlson stock and I added the Alaska arms floor plate to add a round. I wanted the shorter barrel as I will use a suppressor. I wont go lower than $1100, but I will ship it and no sales tax.

Let me know if you are interested
