He went to the "Great Bushveld in the Sky" on August 21, 2021.

I finally got him home yesterday.

I know folks have ask about measurements on the forum several times, so I thought this might be good for future reference.

Overall width - 42" (I think the taxidermist may have helped me a little...)
Width of base - 25"
Height of base - 37"
Distance from base to nose - 43"
Weight - 58 lbs.

Nice buff and mount. Anyone thinking of a shouldered buff mount should budget 4’x4’x4’ to accommodate the desired space. I’m still sitting on a cape until my wife can decided where she’d like it…might be a while

Very nice (y)

Also a 42 though not such deep curls. A pedestal is also a good option for such a big taxidermy challenge. Though the dogs have never trusted the thing lurking in the corner.

Not sure your price range. Have a 375 H&H with a muzzle brake. Nice rifle only fired a few times. Also a Mossberg 375 Ruger its been used and shows a few hunts on it.
Two African Safaris Hunted South Africa both times,
9 game animals taken
Has anybody hunted with Phumba safari in steenbokpan south Africa?
