One of the animals that I was most impressed with during my safari was the Blue Wildebeest. Not only did it dominate the water holes due to their numbers and aggressiveness but they also made for some great table fare .
On the day I shot my wildebeest, I had been trying to get on a particularly wide bull for most of the day. The problem was that there was a pecking order and the wide bull was not near the top.
I analyzed my situation and applied South Texas Management to my thought process and came up with....Shoot the old dominate mature wildebeest running the show.
I made a good shot and the bull ran 80 yards before going down. I actually thought my lighted nock was glowing....turns out it was the lung blood foaming out of the entry hole.
