During my impala hunt I was hunting out of a large pit blind at a small water hole. The impala came into the water hole from left side of the blind from 300 yards. Instead of approaching from the left, he skirts the water hole and comes in on the right side of the water hole. I miss judge the distance and hit him low but the impala is hit well enough that he only goes 15 yards and dies in less than 10 minutes. I was very fortunate that the impala did not go anywhere since I did not have a good follow up shot from my shooting window. The reeds on the video were pretty thick from my shooting lane. It wasn't until I reviewed the video that I realized I should have been ready for a follow up shot on the window that my PH "Otto" was filming from....lady luck was on my side on this one.

Looks like a very good Impala. Congrats..Bruce

I will be looking for a set of these when my .505 is done... sadly not cashed up right now for these. :(
Need anything in trade?
Cheers,

what kind of velocity does the 140 grains list, curious how they would fit in with my current 130 gr, supply of 270s. maybe a pic of the box data listing vel. and drop. Oh and complements on that ammo belt, nice.
