I had told my wife Veronica prior to leaving for South Africa that I would be a good boy and not add any animal to my Safari. Well.....unless I had an opportunity at a Blesbok. While my PH Otto and I sat in one of the manny hides hunting for impala, I was presented with a shot opportunity at the only animal I would consider adding to my hunt. The shot was good and the Blesbok went down on video.

Nice shooting! Looks like FMJ arrows

Archer,
You were in the ZONE on this hunt! Every arrow looked like it was on the money. I had the hardest time trying to discipline myself to aim forward on the shoulder. Even though I practiced shooting more forward, I have the natural tendency to pick a spot behind the shoulder after so many years of hunting whitetails. Great blesbok! Great video! I have a common blesbok, and I want to pursue a white blesbok next safari.

I agree! Excellent shot placement in every instance. It definitely makes the tracking job easier.

Great blesbok, I love the light color horns!
