Blaser R8 ring height to clear windage/elevation turret of typical 1" Leupold scopes?

Hi all,

I have figured out that 30mm low rings are too low for the bottom of the windage/elevation turret housing, and I need medium height rings.

This brings on another question: What 1" ring height will I need to clear the windage/elevation turret housing of a typical VX3 1.5-5x20mm or say FX-II 6x36mm rifle scope? Will the low rings afford enough clearance with the scope base?

I have a 4.5-14x VX3 in 1” low mounts.

To clarify on the 30mm fit: it was an Aimpoint H30L that didn't fit, not a Leupold.

I'll get some 1" rings and put a Leupold on the mount.

Whether 1” or 30mm, the Blaser low mount doesn’t have a lot of clearance for turret housing.
