As promised here is the other longhorn. She is one of the prettiest I can remember. She was a family pet of the client and was a part of their family for almost 18 years. She is full blooded. I'm also excited as she is he first animal photographed in our new and improved booth!

one hell of a fine looking animal.

Erik, that is a nice looking mount. Just curious, do your friends currently own one of her sons or daughters?

I have no idea, the only time I have talked with them is when I skinned her and during the mounting process. I can find out though.

I have 2 really old Giant Steers in my I bought from the Y.O. herd -- how much for a shoulder mount, or euro for the skull and a hide tan?

That's a great shoulder mount, with a lot of great color, and some very impressive horns for a pure breed longhorn.

Thanks @gizmo for sharing pics.

I do those mounts for $1850 plus tax. Being a cow that one had a lot of extra work as the right size form only came in the crappy neck pose. I added and sculpted in the shoulders and brisket to make it right.

A euro is $350 and the tanning on those is $22/sq ft plus tax.

so I delivered this today, I asked if he has any of her sons/daughters left. She was 22 years old when she was put down and none of her sons/daughters are left. The last one was a bull that was her crossed with a Holstein. I guess he was hamburger several years ago.

If your looking for longhorns though I do know a few people that have them.
