I have a beautiful double rifle made by either Jules Bury or August Francotte in 1928. I believe it was retailed by Griffin & Howe. It is chambered for .350 Griffin & Howe. The gun has been regulated beautifully and comes with the regulation recipe to shoot 225gr woodleighs. I have 100 pieces of new brass with proper head stamp.

It is a boxlock ejector gun with a 14" length of pull. Includes CH4D dies for the caliber which is simply a .375HH necked down.

The gun includes regulation targets that show final regulation load development resulting in nearly one hole at 50 yards.

This gun is bouquet rose and scroll engraved and has wonderful bored and good finish overall.

It had an early American scope mounted which I removed and replaced with a NECG standing and folding sight. The folding leaf has not been filed as that is up to the fit of the owner. The rear sight also needs to be cold blued after filing.

A Great Plains game and all-American double rifle.

$9500 plus freight.

Email [redacted] for pictures.

Call [redacted] for more info.

FFL or C&R license required or in state purchase with valid FOID.

Would love to see photos.

All the best in getting it sold.

Pictures now attached. Also, some additional info on the gun:

a.) The gun includes a beautiful leg o' mutton case

b.) It includes 100 pieces of brass / loaded ammunition that is properly headstamped, a requirement if you want to take it to Africa. (Brass made by Qual-Cart)

c.) The gun had regulation loads made for it. The expert that did the work said this is one of the finest regulated double rifles he's ever handled. The regulation targets show bullets at 50 yards from each barrel that could be covered by a dime as they are touching! (regulated with 225 grain woodleigh soft point .358 bullets)

d.) The gun had a hideous old scope installed on the gun with early American mounts. Those parts were removed and it was regulated using the attached standing/folding sight from New England Custom Gun. The folding sight has not been filed in for 150 yards as of yet because it should be done by the ultimate owner of the gun to their dimensions.

Contact me for more info. I'd like to sell it to offset the costs of restoring my other double rifle and try to get back to Africa this spring!

was the touching holes at regulation time done with the current fixed open sight?

Reduced to $7750.

Where else you going to get a vintage ejector double rifle with dies, brand new proper brass, loaded ammo, and case, and expertly regulated with regulation load documented for this money?

I'll even throw in the mounts if you want the scope reinstalled instead of iron sights.

It would be cool to have such a nice gun!
