Anyone ever use barnes tripple shock 235g. in a 375 H&H? I was planning on loading som up for a plains game hunt in May.

Thanks
:bonk:

Don't waste your time and money.I mean this well.A 235gr will give you nothing over a 250gr,except a shorter barrel life.I have tried and tested them all and eventually settled for my favorite hunting load which is the extremely accurate and effective 250gr Sierra Gameking.

I load for an average of 2750 fps, which gives me the same speed and trajectory from my .375 as a 168gr bullet from a .30-06,but with MUCH more punch. What more could you want for PG..? Sighted in at 2.5 to 3 inches high at 100 metres, you have a point-blank range of close to 300 metres with this bullet.

Good luck with your testing.

Thanks alot for the input it's much appriciated, now I just have to wait to get out of Iraq to build some loads.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
