I have no idea how to narrow it down. Just what was said in the text message and I have decided not to do that particular hunt/offer.

Don't give up on hunting in MapumaIanga. I have hunted 7 cape buffalo in Mpumalanga. Beautiful country with fascinating history. Some hunting there is wonderful, some is not. I can help you a bit. pm me.

Discounted buffalo usually means that you would hunt in the Lowveld which is on the west side of Kruger park. from the Limpopo River ( Crooks Corner) down to Hoedspruit.

Spear safari, has a nice hunting operation in the Lowveld. He can be found advertising on these pages. I have talked to him and his wife but never hunted with him. He is well recommended.

There is one of my stories about a hunt in the Lowveld near Hoedspruit, here on AH. It's called "Never Mind the Bull", and has some history and local colour in it. (Enjoy. I am just trying to be helpful.)

This year I am going with my family, including grandchildren, to my favourite hunting place in South Africa, Africa Dawn Safaris near Vaalwater. I will hunt 4 cape buffalo there.

It was with Spear. It’s mountainous and heavily wooded per his description. Main property is 30k acres and this bull is inside a smaller fenced area.
