I'm sure if you didn't wanna go back you wouldn't be on here but has anybody you know ever been to Africa and not wanted to go back, financial reasons aside?

Many want to be back, few want to "go" back, LOL the trip is not the fun part for most to say the least.

There are the odd few who have joined briefly to express their dismay over their 1st hunt gone wrong who Im sure want no part of going back, a few of them saw the light with help from members and cautiously went on to have a great 2nd safari and fall in love with Africa.

After a good hunt with a quality outfit it is hard not to want to return.

I guess what I am trying to say is choose well and you will have an experience with no equal, choose poorly and you will have the same bad taste of any scam/scabby outfitted hunt.

A true hunter would always want to go back to Africa. If someone told me they didn't want to go back, I'd declare them crazy. There is no better place for the dollar to hunt than RSA, Botswana and Namibia. People never believe me when I tell them I saw hundreds of oryx on my trip to Africa and it never got tiring. Go once with a good outfitter and your life will never be the same again.

Nugget here. A guide gave me the nickname as I looked similar to Nugent at the time. Hunting for over 50 years yet I am new to hunting in another country and its inherent game species. I plan to do archery. I have not yet ruled out the long iron as a tag-along for a stalk. I am still deciding on a short list of game. Not a marksman but better than average with powder and string.

may I suggest Intaba Safaris in the East Cape by Port Elizabeth, Eugene is a great guy, 2 of us will be there April 6th to April 14th. he does cull hunts(that's what I am doing) and if you go to his web site he is and offering daily fees of 200.00 and good cull prices. Thanks Jim
Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
