just when you think you have observed a rarity in the wild....

http://www.africahunting.com/hunting-africa/6725-friend-need.html

something new happens that make it seem that 'helping' each other is nothing new for some animals..

A.jpg

youngster got stuck in the mud,and can not get out on his own....

B.jpg

the caring mother encouraged...

C.jpg

and motivates...

D.jpg

in the end the loving and concerned mother had to get into the mud herself to give a helping 'hand'

E.jpg

after some struggle,he is at last free...

F.jpg

as they all move away, all youngster can think of now ,is some mothers milk

:)

again,it seems, sometimes wild animals are more caring than us humans!
we clever and modern homo sapiens can learn a lot from 'lowly', and 'dumb' wild animals!

:)

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.
