I wish Talley or another manufacturer would make an RMR mount for the Talley bases that are their proprietary base style. There is an option for picatiny mount and Talley makes QD rings for the Pic rail. However, the Talley pick rail QD ring levers separate from the rings when you loosen them enough to be removed. Not a good solution if quickly swapping in the field. Besides the Talley bases look much nicer on the Safari rifles in my opinion.
I made a QR RMR base for Rugers by simply machining a factory Ruger ring and then micro Tig welding a flat RMR adapter plate to it. Not as simple on the Talley rings.

A better solution would be a mount that has multiple foot prints on it.
The RMR, RMS, Docter. Each of those foot prints has some pretty tough sights.
Give the shooter a choice. Might get some interesting videos of some fast fires coming apart on some heavy calibers.

I emailed them in 2023 about an rmr mount for standard Talley base and they said it’s in development. Fast forward about a year and the rmr mounts for rifle or shotgun bases came out but nothing for a Talley base yet

Hopefully something will come along.
I see the value in rmr on Talley qd bases and I also don’t prefer a picatinny rail on a walnut hunting rifle

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
