With the vast shortage of ammo on the shelves these days I've heard from a friend that none is being allowed to cross the border from the manufacturers in Mexico or Canada and that numerous containers of ammo are sitting on docks not being allowed to be opened and imported.
Does anyone have info to verify this? I can't find any anywhere.

Pretty unlikely. There is always stories floating around like this whenever there is some sort of issue that creates a run on ammo and components. If it were true dont you think the NRA and other groups would be all over it? I mean, you wouldnt have to search it out.

There are no major Ammunition Manufacturers in Canada that export to the USA. We have several companies making re-manufactured ammo but to my knowledge no companies who could export would even be a drop in the bucket.

I just crossed the border with 400 rounds of shotgun ammo with no issues.
I had a permit.

Not sure about manufacturers in Canada being unable to ship though.

Perhaps out of desperation there are some US Citizens coming across thinking they can buy ammunition and head home with it.
You guys need a permit to take it home (US Laws). If someone is showing up without a permit at the border they will likely stop you.

Not sure if this is the issue Cliffy. Otherwise it might be a rumour about big brother.

My first thought was BS. Conspiracy theorists abound, and I too thought at least the NRA would make mention of something like that.

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
