American Hunting Rifles (AHR) changes?

I heard that AHR were restructuring ie no more upgrades, changing actions to Mauser 98 from CZ 550 (Enfield 1917 actions are as solid as Russian brick outhouses, wouldn't that be great !). Their rifles, from what I've seen, are very well made, solid, good looking, and cheap for the price of a basic model. So can anyone offer an update please?

CZ 550 upgrades are back

I'm pleased to announce that upgrades for the CZ 550's are available again through Matrix Gunsmithing in Colorado. They will be using the same AHR parts and I will be giving them guidance as they take over the work. They are a professional shop and crew, and I have full confidence in them...

Good news on the upgrades!. Does this also mean they will still be building new rifles using the CZ 550 action?

I'm out of the CZ game my friend. Gonna have to contact AHR or at least some other AH member who has the skinny on all that. Just wanted to get you going in the right direction.

There will be a lot of hunters pleased with continuing 550 upgrades, esp on here
