Good day fellow members
I am starting the explore the possibility of adding a Mod70 to my battery. An all-weather this time, in 30-06.

I have come across the following on the internet:
Extreme Weather
Coyote Light (Sexy looking!)
Ultimate Shadow

Living in a tropical part of the world, my normal Blue'd firearms take quite a beating regarding rust. Under normal hunting conditions this is not a problem, but I had my Super Grade on my last hunt and ended up hunting in the rain – not the place for such a rifle. I also need to add a suppressor to the rifle and can not see myself threading it, even more reason to buy a second 30-06.
I am aware that there are some super makes and models available, for instance the Ruger Scout. Being nostalgic, I would like to stay with the Mod70.
I have contacted various outlets in SA but was unable to view any of the models since they did not stock them. The few customers that placed a special order had their rifles out the shop within days. I would pretty much have to buy one blind.

Does anyone mind sharing their views on any of these rifles?

One of my best friends has one in .300 WSM. Excellent rifle! Shoots sub-moa with most ammo. I would not hesitate to buy one. The only issue I have with them is they are not "light" :D They are pretty standard weight in my opinion. My buddies is very pleasant to shoot, the most pleasant of any .300 WSM I have shot.
One thing I found very interesting was the 4 groove rifling. May be unique to the WSM but not something you commonly see.
Here's a pic of a nice Idaho Shiras moose taken with the coyote light in .300 WSM.
