African Music

Now THIS is the type of music that should be used to enhance promotional safari videos!!! (instead of death metal:confused:) I actually heard the first one (Johnny Clegg-scaterlings of Afica) on a promo video from Cruiser safaris, and I believe (IIRC) that I've heard pieces from the African music compilation piece in another video (KMG, maybe??)....

At any rate, thanks for sharing those.......they were pretty cool! And if anyone out there is thinking about using Toto's "Africa" for background music.......please, rethink it. It's been done to death!

Maybe use "mystic rhythms" by RUSH instead?

What a great thread you started! Thanks Justin.

Nice thread Justin. Won't be complete without the Lion sleeps tonight, Hoza-Hoza (4 jacks and a Jill) and Impi:)

Fantastic Justin, brings back memories....

I always like to hear music from other places, in 4 trips no one played any African music. This is very nice to hear, no to find some.

Thanks enjoyed it. Liked the guitar in a couple. The guy with the gallon can for a guitar is talented. I agree Spooksar, listening to music from the cultures you visit is part of the adventure.

My Avatar says it all, Osibisa, Afro,Jamacian Fusion. I was given a Debut Promo album by a Girl who was a Disc Jockey for a small Radio Station in Racine Wisconsin. Of course most of us remember Paul Simon featured Ladysmith Black Mombassa in his Graceland Release which was Album of the year

I know that this thread is more than a year old but as a new member I thought I would pass along my .280AI loading.
I am shooting F Open long range rather than hunting but here is what is working for me and I have managed a 198.14 at 800 meters.
That is for 20 shots. The 14 are X's which is a 5" circle.

Have twice tried to post something that your site canned as "SPAM" or some problem.. "Contact the Administrator"... Not sure why even the "Contact" button would not send my comment so you only received my query but not the content in question. I'll see if I can get it to you this way... NOPE I use a VPN and perhaps that is causing me grief...
