Africa Sky Guest House

I've been trying to contact Africa Sky guest house for about a week now. I've sent two messages through their website and one email directly over the last 8 or 9 days and have not heard back from them. Was curious if anyone else has had any issues. I'll try to reach out to them tomorrow by phone. The last two safari's they've always been prompt to respond to my emails for booking.

I hope they didn’t go belly up. I stayed there while passing thru Johannesburg on both of my hunts. Great service. Great people. Great food.

I'm interested in seeing where this goes. I'm booked with them early August, and it's a carry overbooking from May 2020 that was changed to April 2021 and now the August date when I hope to go. Looks like the government just changed the rules again for passing through Joburg with special regs for overnighting at places like Africa Sky.

Gilbert is also doing well and is clearing firearms and doing his usual outstanding job checking you in/out of the airport.

I'm overnighting at Africa Sky on 7/17 including 0400 Airport pickup, firearms service, etc. This is also a carryover from 2020. Had an upbeat email from Leoni this week in response to a three way conversation with our PH.

So glad to hear Africa's and especially Gilbert are all doing well, I'm sure this past here had to be hell on them like everyone else. Looking forward to the report of your recent trip.

last month I emailed them to inquire about gun permitting and never heard back. I’m staying there in a couple weeks and my PH says they’re open and Gilbert is picking us up. Hope he does!!
