While it doesn't go as far as saying hunting is beneficial, it does draw a distinction between the populations of lions living in Southern Africa versus those in West, Central, and East Africa. It also acknowledges that habitats destruction, prey depletion, and human-lion conflict as the real threats versus the small percentage of lions taken from legal hunting. More of the same of what we already know.....

Sadly it will likely be abused as the basis to stop a consumptive use and try and "save" them by storing them in a imaginary warehouse somewhere..
