Mine was estimated at 100. Not sure if that's my fish the sky looks right but don't remember the ocean being that smooth. Jim got alot of videos of tarpon I will have to ask him. Anyway they jump like crazy and actually one around 50 is a lot of fun.Awesome! How much do you figure that fish weighed?

It was maybe 60 pounds or so, and took me about 20 minutes to wear down enough to get hands on. You'll see it jump next to the boat a few times when we were trying to get hands on it. If you like a challenge tarpon fishing is for you. It's about 75% luck and 25% skill/reaction. With the right guide they can talk you through it, but being quick enough to "bow to the king" when they jump is tough, BUT all that said there is no other fish I would rather catch.
