I found a great book for those slow and easy days. "West With The NIght" by Beryl Markham.
She was the first female bush pilot in Africa (book takes place early in the last century). She was raised on a farm in East Africa (in the book) and became a bush pilot. One of the top 3 books I have ever read. She describes areas in Africa as no one can. My copy has a foreword
by E. Hemingway who says she puts his writings to shame.
