Got this earlier this year thinking it was rougher than it turned out to be. It's too nice *for me* to convert to x62, but you won't hear me complain if that's what you want to do. It had very slight surface rust that was 85% eliminated with a single session of oiling. This could be brought back to near factory new condition with fairly minimal effort. It just doesn't fit with what I want to have done for the next year, so it'll get passed on to someone else.

$600 will see it shipped to your FFL, add 3% for CC. If you happen to be in southern Indiana, I'll knock some off for ftf. Cash, MO, check, cashapp, PP, all of these are acceptable.

Thanks for looking, and Merry Christmas!

Wonderful rifle at a fair price

Do you know what model this is?
Short answer: no.

I haven't gone down the path of research on this one, because it was purchased to fill a particular roll. An undrilled/tapped receiver was the main concern, along with an unthreaded barrel, and when I found this one the model was unimportant (to me).

I think its a Model 146 not a Model 46. The 146 was built on a 98 action from FN. The serial number would date it to around 1940. If it weren't for the import/export difficulties I'd be happy to buy it.

Someone is planning to take a look later this week. I'll update later if this is what the potential buyer is after, so you'll know it's sold, etc.

This rifle is still available. Presumably the holiday activities are, appropriately, taking precedent over FTF meets.

I have a model 46 and it is a sweet little rifle, you will enjoy this rifle.

What a great way to kick off our 2025 hunting season in South Africa.

This beautiful Impala ram was taken at just over 300 yards, took a few steps and toppled over.

We are looking forward to the next week and a half of hunting with our first client of the year.

Do you have any more copies of African Dangerous Game Cartridges, Author: Pierre van der Walt ? I'm looking for one. Thanks for any information, John buzzardhilllabs@hotmail.com
NRA benefactor, areas hunted, add congo, Mozambique3, Zambia2
Out of all the different color variations of Impala the black Impala just stands out with its beautiful pitch black hide.

Impala is one of the animals you will see all over Africa.
You can see them in herds of a 100 plus together.

This excellent ram was taken with one of our previous client this past season.
