600 Overkill

ooooooh.....what a fantastic squirrel killer! Seriously though, unmanly perception or looks, recoil mitigation is a must.
Completely agree I would never take this rifle on a safari I got a really good deal on it and wanted it for the collection. There are other calibers that will get the job
Done on any African game and you will be able to control it and be able to perform fast follow up shots if need be.

They are the only rifle I have shot that wants to twist out of your hands when you get into some velocity.
Yep, that was my experience!
The twist was quite strong, much more noticeable than the surprisingly tolerable recoil.
It was a buddy’s gun he’d bring to hunt camp, mostly for fun and conversation.

Have fun with it…

Nice rifle.

That just great!
First people say the 375 is the can do anything caliber, so I bought one.
Then it was the 458 WM, so I bought one.
Then was a 416, so I bought another left handed 375 Ruger to build a 416 Ruger.
Now it is the 470 that is the do all planet wrecker magnum. I did see a nice 470 left handed double rifle advertised.

Fortunately nobody has said the 600 Death Star is the can do anything cartridge.
You just laid out my safari rifle trajectory.

Started with 375HH, then 458 WM, 416 Rigby and 470 NE.

Next will be the “do all” 50 cal.

You have the wrong person. I have no idea what you are talking about..

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
