Depending on your budget, I would definitely suggest Zambia, Tanzania, or Zimbabwe. All have great wild areas! My first choice would be the Luangwa Valley in zambia however!

Welcome to the site, feel free to give me a shout if we can be of assistance. We are an exclusive big game area operator and offer buffalo safaris on 3 big game areas in Africa.
1.)Our new base (starting 2023) we have secured a 5 year renewable lease on a 78,000 previously photographic reserve in the Waterberg of Limpopo this area has never been hunted.

2.)Makuya conservancy which is located within the greater Kruger and shares a fenceless boundary with the Park. 70 000 acres

3.)Block L9 (Mozambique) located within the 11,000 000 acre Niassa special reserve as wild as Africa can be. This is a 800,000 acre block untouched.

All 3 areas are big game, big 5 (dangerous 7) areas (no Rhino in Moz) and will provide a superb authentic African safari experience it truly is bucket list fair chase hunting and would most definitely tick the boxes.

All buffalo hunts are conducted on foot and we do not hunt from herds, only solitary lone or groups of up to 3 or four are tracked and worked. Buffalo numbers as well as quality should be expected to be exceptional.

I did a buff bull hunt for my 50th back in 2019 (pic in avatar).. was a wonderful time and a great hunt..

@Bos en Dal SAFARIS can definitely hook you up with a memorable 50th Birthday hunt in 2023.. @Mark Biggerstaff has taken multiple buffalo with Gerrit at Bos en Dal.. and several other members here have hunted with Gerrit over the years...

I’ve hunted Buffalo in the Luangwa Valley in Zambia with Kwalata safaris…and the Dande in Zimbabwe with Charlton McCallum Safaris. Both were 10 out of 10. The Luangwa had better plains game. Good Buffalo I both. Great bday present by the way!
