Anyone have experience using retumbo with the Gibbs? I've seen a post here & there discussing it but I'd like to dedicate a thread to it. Theoretically I should be able to load 147 grains of retumbo safely, just wondering if anyone has any experience with that. Thanks in advance!

P.S rifle is Montana Rifle Co. PH DGR model 1999
I have both Federal 215 primers and norma brass both virgin and once fired.

I have read of people using between 143-145gr of Retumbo under a 600gr bullet getting 2450fps out of it. I have no first hand knowledge, just some data I had read while researching the round.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
