Give me a couple of days and i'll send you a pm with details.

Sorry, that last pic was a poor choice as it doesn't really show the rifle.
My bad.

Treeman, specs for my particular rifle;

M 70 Winchester CRF
Pacnor 20" barrel
NECG front and back sights
Inletted slign swivels
Gunkote metal finish
All metalwork, chambering etc SSK Industries
xx English Walnut stock
Woodwork by Accurate Inovations whi bed the rifles in an aluminium bedding block that runs the majority of the barrel length
Finished weight right around 8.5lbs.

Standard load is .50cal 450gn CEB Safari Raptor at 2450fps (very mild load) I can run these to over 2550 but just don't need to.
I blow my ,375 RUM cases out to .50 cal with a mild load of pistol powder, corn-meal and a spit wad in the neck. Cheap and effective.
My current load has given me 6 to 8 feet of penetration on rear end raking shots on buffalo MANY times. Enough is enough.
The "knock-down" effect on buffalo is stunning.
It actually makes me look like a good shot !!!!!

Don't ask me about perceived recoil as I am the wrong person to ask.
I am recoil blunt after shooting 45+ cals over the past 30+ years.
I would say it is equivilant to a light .458 Lott loaded to max.
Quite comfortable and me as I have spent the time to get familiar with my gun.

The front swivel has bitten me once when I was culling some horses one day and was shooting at a Stallion with one hand resting on a tree and not holding the forearm. The rifle came back and took a swivel shaped piece of meat out of one of my forefingers that bled for quite a while.
Other than that no ill effects and plenty of satisfactory stopping results in an 8.5lb rifle with a 20" barrel. :D Beer Draft:

I saw you were looking for some Swift A-Frames for your 9.3. I just bought a bulk supply of them in the 285g. version. If Toby's are gone, I could let 100 go for $200 shipped you are interested.
Thanks,
Gary

Booked with Harold Grinde - Gana River - they sure kill some good ones - who'd you get set up with?
