5 Day Safari Hunt!!!!

Greetings all,

I recently purchased this 2013 Cheetah Safaris Hunting trip at a charity auction. As much as a trip like this is on my bucket list, the timing just isn't right for I have a newborn child at home. The trip includes the following:

- 5 Day plains game hunt for 1 hunter (1 client / 1 guides)
- $2,500 credit towards trophy fee
- Lodging, food, soft drinks included
- DOES NOT INCLUDE AIRFARE TO & FROM JOHANNESBURG
- Transportation to Cheetah Lodge
- Meet & Greet & Gun importation fees
- More hunting days @ $400 / day, observers @ $200
- Extra animals to be added from standard 2013 pricelist
- Hunt must be taken in 2013
- Retail Value $4,500
- Outfitter: Cheetah Safaris

Is this safari transferable? Purchasing from a charity (donated hunt) sometimes hunts are not transferable.

What are the time conditions for booking...

Is this 5 hunting days or 5 days total pickup and delivery to airport?

Thanks for the inquiry James,

From what I have been told, the hunt is transferable and 5 hunting days. One would just have to contact Cheetah Safaris for availability and booking. When I purchased the package, I was given a brochure from Cheetah Safaris and a description of the hunting package.

Hi all,

Its been a couple days since I've been able to check in, but just wondering if anyone has interest in this hunt? Like I've previously mentioned, the hunt is for 5 days through Cheetah Safaris of South Africa. I have the brochure along with the details of the hunt that I would send to the buyer. chadadams there is probably a good reason but what was the point of bidding in the auction for this hunt in the first place, presumably your baby didnt appear out of the blue one day ?

Couple things for ya here SPIKE! First, the hunting adventure was purchased before my wife and I knew of the new addition. Second, I'm not sure providing you a reason as to why I purchased the package is even relevant!!!!! I'm simply trying to sell the hunt and that's it! If you or anyone you know would be interested in it, let me know. If not, take care!

Chad Congrats on the little one, just to clarify again, the funds raised off selling this particular hunt on AH would such funds also go the the mentioned charity? if not is it being sold to your profit? There are many safari(donations) that are purchased at $500 - $1000 and then resold at a profit to the purchaser on various sites even seen them on Ebay....

Please understand I am not saying that this is the case, I have just always been a camp fighter for donated hunts that are resold for a profit by a third party.. Many think that I am over sensitive but I have always felt that it would not be in the spirit of such donation hunts, as mtstewart mentioned on another thread you could always delay for a year....

As it is one of the things that were on your bucket list.
