Hello. I picked up a custom built 458 Winchester mag from a friend built on a Austrian Mauser action. Pretty sure it’s a Douglas barrel and a beautiful wood stock. Have 4 loaded boxes of Winchester super x. 510 grain round points some extra brass and reloading dies. I live in Alaska and have a 340 Weatherby for anything I need here. Looking to see if there would be anybody interested in perhaps purchasing the 458? I can send pics if there is . Thanks in advance.

Hey @Ridge Runner

On this AH Classifieds forum, one needs to post a price.
Also, since you are new here, its always best to go to the Introductions forum and tell all a little about yourself.

Welcome aboard!

Oops! Confusion. Something we all need to be aware of when communicating with other members.

Two different people with nearly identical forum names. Ridgerunner257 is a newbie(?) in Alaska. I'm Ridge Runner living in Tennessee and have been an active member for a few years.

Appreciative that Ridgerunner257 understood you were addressing him with your recommendations; it is his OP.

I do have a 458WM with a meager quantity of brass, primers, powder, bullets, and factory ammo. However, currently it isn't for sale. I still need to take it on an African DG hunt, hopefully for a hippo on land.

Hey new @Ridgerunner257 : I'm not in the market, but some pics would greatly help your sale chances. Plus, I'm selfish and enjoy seeing pics of fine rifles.

Welcome Ridgerunner repeat. aka Ridgerunner .257.

G'day from Australia

As said it pays to post about yourself and build some history before trading.

Thanks for clearing it up @Ridge Runner
Good luck with the Hippo.

Clark 8907. To be honest I haven’t shot it in years. A friend of mine had it and I shot it maybe 10 yrs ago when he had got it. I think I put 3 round into a pie plate then at 50yds if I can remember right. I was visiting him this fall and he was cleaning out his safe, where it has stayed ever since he first got it. I picked up a few other items from him and that was part of the deal.

Out of all the different color variations of Impala the black Impala just stands out with its beautiful pitch black hide.

Impala is one of the animals you will see all over Africa.
You can see them in herds of a 100 plus together.

This excellent ram was taken with one of our previous client this past season.
