Hey guys,

My supply of 440gr bullets is getting low.

Anyone have load data for a .450 Nitro Express 3 1/4” but using the 350gr NFB bullets? Or the 400gr PP’s?
The guns nitro proofed but instead of the standard 480gr these were proofed for 440gr and the factory ammo for them was a special 440gr at 2000fps load, so a 400gr PP at that speed would be nice or a 350 at NFB speeds for oinkers.

Chances are there won’t be a water buffalo on the cards but just ticking boxes.

Cheers,
Troy.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
